First - set up Blogger with Advanced Settings
The first step to take in ensuring you can change Blogger is to avoid the standard set up and choose the little-publicised "Advanced Settings". By doing this you will be able to have absolute control over Blogger blogs. You can find out more about setting up the Advanced Settings in my 11-minute video that takes you through the settings process, step by step. Just follow my video and you'll be able to set up Blogger to used advanced settings - the first part of your control.

Hi Graham
I can't tell you how grateful I am to you for creating and sharing these videos - they're brilliant!
Before stumbling across your videos, I'd been scouring the web for months trying to find out how to integrate a blogger blog into an existing website without success.
You can see the result that I have been able to create with your step-by-step advice below...

Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Graham,
Everything the last comment said and more. These videos have saved me days, possibly weeks, of work. They showed me step by step exactly what I needed.
Thanks very much for posting them.
Ian.

I'm with Damien. The videos were just great. I asked some tech heads to help and they had no clue. You're a genius.

That's a nice start, but how does one change the comment page layout (which differs from the custom site layout in this case)?

Wow Graham thank you. I do agree - it would be nice if we could also change this page (the comment page)

What if the blog has already been set up, as in the case with a client of mine. How can I change from the blogger-hosted option to the advanced option once the account has been set up? Can you please produce a quick video explaining that process? I am not overly familiar with blogger, and am learning this all on-the-fly to assist a client who's even less clued-in than I. Cheers!

Once the blog is set up you can change to the advance settings simply by adjusting the publishing settings to move away from blogspot to custom domain

Oh never mind, I just noticed it's possible to include the comment form on the blog page itself, instead of a popup window. You can find it in Settings>Comments>Comment Form Placement>Embedded below post...
